Overview
The Institute of Minimal Access Surgery at Sharda Hospital is a center of excellence for surgical procedures using invasive and painless methods. These procedures are generally associated with shorter hospital stay and lesser complications.
The surgeries are performed by expert surgeons and caregivers for treatments like removal of gallbladder stones, CBD stones, appendix and repair of all hernias. The team also performs indo-euro surgeries like pyelolithotomy (keyhole surgery for the removal of stone from the kidney) and TURP (Transurethral resection prostatectomy), both of which are complex procedures. Some other surgeries performed are Minimum Endaural Surgeries and Extracorporeal Shockwave Lithotripsy (for crushing the stones by the Siemens modern machine).
