Garima is a 36-year-old mother of three. Post her three deliveries, her stomach was not coming to its original state.
“I looked pregnant, even when I wasn't. Something had to change and I decided to see a doctor when I was frustrated by the way I looked”, recalls Garima.
She adds, “I didn’t feel good in my own skin. Things went to a stage where it was hard for me to interact, especially when I was very uncomfortable and conscious even in front of my family”. After listening to her agony, one of her friends suggested undergoing a surgery which made Garima nervous.
They referred her to the Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery Department of Sharda Hospital where she met Dr. Varun. He suggested her to undergo an Abdominoplasty.
Dr. Varun cleared all her questions and explained to her about the procedure in detail. Garima finally felt comfortable to proceed with the treatment. She scheduled her surgery 2 days later. The doctors made an incision from hip to hip just above the pubic area which was followed by another incision to free the navel from its surrounding skin. The skin was detached from the abdominal wall in order to reveal the muscle and fascia in order to tighten it.
The entire procedure took an hour or less, and the surgery was successful. Garima was discharged 3 days after her surgery.
“Finally, I am who I wanted to be. A big thanks to Dr. Varun and his entire team”, said Garima.
